| After the fifth successful year of
the Race to Stop Global Warming, the Green House Network has decided
to end its commitment to the event. As a small organization, we
simply cannot carry the financial and logistical burden of running
the Race. We had a wonderful farewell event in Portland in April,
drawing 1500 runners. And so, after a tremendous "run" of five
years, including races in New York City's Central Park and on the
Presidio on San Francisco, the Green House Network is retiring the
Race to Stop Global Warming. Interested parties who would like to
organize their own local events should please contact us for ideas!
